Particulars: This is the fifth in a (planned series) of art gallery pieces. I probably spent too much time writing the haiku for the poster as I don't think many people bothered to read them but I like the idea of incorporating writing into the finished piece and may try it again someday.

The main idea I was playing with here was that of peeking behind the "canvas" of a very typical still life. Though the piece did not place in the money, I feel I was successful nonetheless.
